Waterfall Hikes Near Vancouver, WA
within 50 miles
Vancouver splits its 81 waterfalls two ways, Lewis River country to the north and the Gorge east. Latourell Falls leads the Oregon side, 224 feet of freefall on a loop covering 2.4 miles and around 620 feet of climb. On the East Fork Lewis, Lucia Falls takes a short loop of half a mile, while Moulton Falls upstream stretches the walk to 2.6, dogs fine at both. Dougan Falls pours nineteen feet into a Washougal River swimming hole. Willamette Falls, wide as the river itself, shows from the Oregon City overlooks with no hiking at all.
