From Jasper, the Newton County seat, Eden Falls is about 11 miles west in the Lost Valley area of the Buffalo National River. The Lost Valley Trail covers about 2.3 miles round trip past a large bluff shelter to the 53-foot falls and a cave with a 25-foot waterfall inside, and pets are not permitted on it. Marble Falls lies a few miles northeast along Highway 7 toward Harrison.
