Waterfall Hikes Near Huntington, WV

Waterfall options thin out along the Ohio River, and Huntington gets four within its radius. Upper Falls is the easy one, half a mile out and back with dogs welcome. Lower Falls asks much more, 5.6 miles of trail and 500 feet of climb. Lick Falls splits the difference at 2.5 miles and 300 feet. Caney Falls rounds out the list without any measured trail. People here who want big vertical usually point the car east toward the New River Gorge.
