About Upper Salmon Falls
Upper Salmon Falls is on the Snake River near Hagerman, Idaho, between Gooding and Twin Falls counties, about 40 miles west of Shoshone Falls. It is the upper of the two Salmon Falls; Lower Salmon Falls, about 5 miles downstream, is now largely covered by the reservoir behind Lower Salmon Falls Dam. Locals sometimes call the upper falls Fall Hole.
