About Webster's Falls
Webster's Falls is a 22-metre-high (72 ft) classical curtain and plunge waterfall located in the Spencer Gorge Conservation Area in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The water flows down Spencer Creek. In the past, the falls have been known by various names such as Dr. Hamilton's Falls, Spencer Falls, Hart Falls, Fisher Falls and Flamborough Falls.

Webster's Falls flows over layered sedimentary rock laid down about 252-539 million years ago. Over time, the stream has worn through these layers at different rates, creating a 72-foot drop that forms the waterfall.

The moderate 4.5-km out-and-back trail gains 109 metres of elevation on the way to the falls.
Trail Description
From the main parking area a short, well-marked trail leads to the principal rim viewpoint for Webster's Falls. The route to the primary viewpoint is paved or compacted and is suitable for most visitors; expect short flights of steps in places. Additional, steeper trails descend toward other viewpoints and into parts of the gorge; some of those footpaths are steeper, narrow, and may be closed seasonally. Popular combined routes will include a visit to nearby Tew's Falls and sections of the Bruce Trail that run along the gorge rim.
