Additional, steeper trails descend toward other viewpoints and into parts of the gorge; some of those footpaths are steeper, narrow, and may be closed seasonally. Popular combined routes will include a visit to nearby Tew's Falls and sections of the Bruce Trail that run along the gorge rim.

Lower trails and access to the gorge floor can be hazardous and may be seasonally closed; obey posted signs. Cell reception may be limited in parts of the gorge, tell someone your plan and expected return. If in doubt, choose safer, maintained viewpoints.
