Waterfall Hikes Near Rock Hill, SC

Three waterfalls make the list at Rock Hill. The headliner is Great Falls of Catawba, churning downstream near the old mill town, reached by a two mile trail along the river the city grew up on. Cedar Falls barely asks anything, half a mile there and back with the dog along. Hendricks Falls rates moderate, picking up 200 feet across its mile and a half. Piedmont creeks run thin in dry spells, so save this trip for the week after real rain moves through.
