About Upper Mohawk Falls
Upper Mohawk Falls is a small cascade located in the Spencer Gorge / Webster's Falls area near Hamilton, Ontario. It sits along Mohawk Creek within the larger conservation area and is most often visited together with nearby Webster Falls and Lower Mohawk Falls. The falls are set in a scenic gorge with steep cliffs and basalt bedrock; waterflow is highest in spring and after heavy rain and can be much reduced in dry periods.

Trail Description
From the main conservation-area parking, follow marked trails toward the Spencer Gorge and the Webster's Falls viewpoints. Signage and established footpaths lead to viewpoints for Webster's Falls and then toward the Mohawk Creek area. Upper Mohawk Falls is reached via a short, often-stepped trail with uneven surfaces and short stair sections. Expect short sections of narrow path and some descent toward the gorge rim. The route is typically an out-and-back loop (visitors return on the same trail).
