Waterfall Hikes Near Tulsa, OK

Tulsa's fifty-mile circle turns up two waterfall listings. McSpadden Falls is the one you can plan on, an easy mile out and back. Lower Verdigris Falls survives only in the historical record, from before the Verdigris was dammed and channeled for barge traffic. Green Country carries more water than the rest of Oklahoma, though most of it moves flat, and that keeps this page short. Fold McSpadden into a Route 66 day and the math works out fine.
