Waterfall Hikes Near Tahlequah, OK

Tahlequah has the Illinois River for float trips and a short waterfall list to go with it. McSpadden Falls is an easy mile out and back. Webbers Falls, downstream on the Arkansas River, gave its name to a whole town before the lock-and-dam system drowned the drop, and you can still drive to the area to see what remains. Lower Verdigris Falls is another historical entry. Three listings in range, so let the river do most of the entertaining here.
