Ramsey Falls, 31 miles away in Alexander Ramsey Park at Redwood Falls, is the one with a trail, a 1-mile round trip with about 100 feet of climb that is open to dogs. Minnesota Falls, 35 miles out just downstream of Granite Falls, is a set of rapids where Xcel Energy removed an old power dam in 2013, and it has no trail data yet. The valley's bluffs and granite outcrops are a change from the level farmland around Willmar.
