Waterfall Hikes Near Lubbock, TX
Two waterfalls survive the fifty mile circle around Lubbock, both out east where the caprock breaks into canyon country. Twenty Foot Falls carries its height in its name and takes a half mile walk that dogs can join. Silver Falls, off the highway toward Crosbyton, is a half mile loop, dogs welcome there too. Water out here depends on the White River and on recent rain, so spring after a storm gives the best show of the year.
