Waterfall Hikes Near Jasper, IN

Hindostan Falls is Jasper's one listed waterfall, a low ledge across the East Fork of the White River where a whole town once stood before disease emptied it in the 1820s. You park almost on top of it, walk maybe a tenth of a mile, and the dog can come. Fishermen use the spot more than hikers do. Water spreads wide over the rock shelf in spring and shrinks to channels by August, so time the visit if the falls themselves are the point.
