Waterfall Hikes Near Jackson, MS

Jackson sits on the Gulf Coastal Plain with generally low-relief terrain of gently rolling ridges, bottomland hardwoods and pine stands, and modest river bluffs along the Pearl River that concentrate small tributary streams. Within fifty miles only a couple of easy waterfall hikes are found, mostly short shaded creekside walks and modest roadside cascades with minimal elevation gain, offering quiet woodland scenes and conveniently accessible trailheads from nearby suburbs.
