A small, mostly urban waterfall/spillway feature on Wascana Lake within Wascana Centre near Regina. This is primarily a man-made outlet/overflow area and is visited as part of the park and lakeside trail network rather than as a remote natural waterfall. Wascana Lake Waterfall flows over layered sedimentary rock, primarily sandstone, laid down about 66-101 million years ago. These soft rocks erode readily, allowing the stream to carve a 13-foot drop into the landscape.

Trail Description

Access to the waterfall is via paved or compacted-surface park paths through Wascana Centre. The walk is short and family-friendly with benches and interpretive signs in parts of the park. The immediate area around the spillway may have uneven rock, concrete, or wet surfaces; stay on established paths.
